I am surprised. I think that about sums it up. I expected an erotica novel and got a very gritty romance with feels and very nice characters. I think she did a great job at writing Sasha and the ending was just perfection. The breaking of the fourth wall was also very enjoyable and I liked the way she made the thought process of the characters visible in a different way. The only reason as for why I can’t give 5 stars is, that the abuse was a bit too explicit for me at some points and on the one hand it’s a heads up to Ms. Darhower, but on the other those parts I wasn’t really able to read. I am also not sure if it was necessary to that extent… But I am very happy to have been surprised with such depth in this series!!!
