Started listening to the audiobook cause it is the shortest I still have on audible that ain’t the queen Lara Adrain. I was so entertained but how bad and cringy this was, I told my friend Mari and she got roped into it, so we buddy speed listened to this cluster f***. I swear it laughed so much in the beginning and just went for the ride for shits and giggles. Sadly, I think it got worse over time because the cringe level that was funny got lost. Sure the dirty talk was still from the depths of hell, but overall it seemed to go too much into the direction of what even is consent, the longer we listened. The story line is also absolutely non existent so i can’t even say there was something to try to save this.

Thanks to Netgalley and Entangled: Scorched for the digital copy in exchange for an honest review. The beginning of the book was absolutely great and got me hooked immediately. The premise was absolutely hilarious and the first encounter between Chance and Jane had me laughing all over. I just loved it. Things get down to business between the two really fast and it starts as a regular fling. There is a lot of sex in this book but it's very hot sex and the chemistry between Jane and Chance is amazing. Sometimes I had the feeling it got serious way too quickly and I missed something on the emotional basis here but overall the couple was really great together. I really loved the author's writing style and I will defintely will read more by Gina L. Maxwell. If you are looking for a book which will get your panties on fire, here you go...
