An important short story to back up Erikas character, since we don't to get to hear much about her in the main story. Understanding her character is key to understand Tamas motivation and drive. The story shows us the important twist in Erikas life: Her being a Kez heir and an illigal powder mage, a brave and daring young woman chosing to do the right thing and eventually meeting the young Tamas, albeit very brief. I really enjoyed her POV. It's a pity she's not a regular in the main story. I hope to get more of her and Tamas' story.
