Fallen and Torment are the first two books of The Fallen series. They follow Luce, who is sent to Sword & Cross High School after an accident, where she meets Daniel, a boy she feels mysteriously drawn to. Their connection grows, but Daniel repeatedly pulls away—until he reveals that they have been together in every one of Luce’s past reincarnations. As Luce learns about angels, demons, Heaven and Hell, she also discovers that their love has lasted for centuries. But once the truth comes out, demons and Outcasts try to capture her.
