A bunch of different guys, some of them wildly sexist, go all "Who did this to you", just to also not do anything at all when her literal kidnapper and murderer comes to pick her up, because "laws". The sexism really bothers me, I have trouble liking a MMC when he's clearly sexist. I'm really annoyed by every guy thinking the FMC is SO hot, and of course she's not like other girls. The conversation about how "Some girls are like beer, and some are like wine, and clearly she's wine"? EWWW. It didn't help at all that she regarded every other woman except her best friend as a whore, because they all go crazy for Justus. Good thing she's special! I also just find the laws of the mages completely unrealistic. Protecting the creators and allowing them to do lots of shit makes a lot of sense, but the fact that they're completely allowed to both abuse and murder their learners in any way? And from a race that's pretty pedantic about their other laws? That's just a little too wild for me to believe. So far I like Simon best by far, but I don't think he'll be the one she ends up with, sadly.
