Thanks to Netgalley and Loveswept for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. 3.5 The book started out a bit difficult for me as I had troubles connecting with the characters and feeling the chemistry between Julie and Lawson. But then it got better and better and I really liked the two, especially together. I really liked the character's path in this book. Julie starting a new life after a bad break-up and then Lawson trying to settle back into life after his war experiences and a bad accident. I found the way the story was told and how the characters struggled very authentic. I really enjoyed reading this sweet story and also enjoyed the author's writing style. I will definetely read more.
