Magical botanists? As someone with two black thumbs I would love to be friends with a magical botanist! The academy itself sounds awesome. Treehouses, creeks, fields, flowers, amazing food, magic….sign me up already! And then you get your birthstone as jewellery to be able to enter it? The fmc is a talented artist, her friends sound awesome (well the magical ones, not so sure about the non magic one!), the mmc sounds amazing too. His parents sound like the perfect side villains and I have a big big hunch as to who could be the big main villain! I just need the next book now to see if I‘m right or not. I also have a little hunch as to why Callan is so weird about Alex but not calling him out yet. Book 2, when?
