I really enjoyed the second part. I've read Maddie's prior to this some time ago and I might pick it up again. Jesus I was positively surprised that she did not believe her mother during that phone call when she spread all those lies. I was already internally groaning from would have happened afterward but she did not believe her at all. I really liked that change for once.
