I am in EURO fever, of course I read a free football romance book (we need more sports romance that aren't [ice] hockey!!) It took me a while to get into the book. I knew this used to be a One Direction fanfiction, but at the beginning it was painfully obvious they only changed the names, but left everything else the same, which felt very weird? (I cannot describe the feeling, I don't mind reading fanfiction, but when you change just the names, it feels wrong...). After that, I got into the story very quickly. However, I do think the book was a bit long and it was too easy to get lost in Ben's train of thoughts. There were so many internal monologues... girl, just let them do something. Play a little more football or smt. Anyways... I want to read more football romance now! I am more hooked than ever.
