Besser als die Bücher auf dem Universum zuvor, die ich gehört habe. Tatsächlich endlich wieder mehr Handlung, und ich fand es spannend, dass Nassakth einer bisher nicht erwähnten Spezies angehört. Diese unerwartete Abwechslung mochte ich sehr.

“When She PURRS”, hat mir super gefallen. Ich liebe den „Marriage of convenience“–Trope und finde auch, dass der hier ausgezeichnet umgesetzt wurde. Kim und Nassakth passen richtig gut zusammen und es hat mich überrascht, dass ER ihr Husband wird, weil das aus der Kurzbeschreibung überhaupt nicht erkenntlich war. Eine super Wendung mit der ich nicht gerechnet habe! 😃 Fand auch die Epiloge so sooo wholesome zu lesen. Werde dieses Paar vermissen. ❤️

Ich war ziemlich skeptisch, als ich gemerkt habe, dass es in diesem Buch um einen Praxiian geht, da diese keinen sonderlich guten Ruf in den anderen Teilen hatten. Doch ich war absolut positiv überrascht und hoffe, bald mehr von den Schmusekatzen zu lesen 😍 Die Geschichte hatte stellenweise ein paar Längen, trotzdem habe ich sie sehr genossen, vor allem da es mal eine wundervolle Abwechslung war ❤️
Riby Dixon cannot lose. She always win and I couldn't be more happy about it!! So we follow Kim, who was freed from a slaver 8 months ago, given a plot of land and equipment on a little plannet and she now lives her life. Except for her neighbor, Nass, who she feels is harassing her, he left a dead prey on her door step, and came on her door. So she hires a bountyhunter, to find her a kind male to sharr her life and marry in name only. In comes Nass, a praxxian (so basically a big alien cat hybrid) who has a crush on Kim, hus new human neighbor. But he doesn't think she understands his mating rituals, so when he realizes she hired a bounty hunter to find her a male, and put herseld in a world of danger, he takes things in hands and lets himself be kidnapped. I just loved it, Nass was really cute and I loved that his speciss is based on cats. His backstory was really sad but he really made the most of it and he couldn't have been better. Kim was also really cute, she was frustratted with the situation but managed to make the best of it and she ended up winning to game. I also really like the plot, it read a bit like a fanfiction (in a good way), and now that I know thar it was written as one (with daily chapter uploaded bc of quarantine) it really makes sense! I loved that Ruby put a little bit of her and the situation by making Kim a writer who uploads chapter by chapter. I can't wait to know what happens to Sophie ald I hope we see more of Bethia too!
