Immer wieder schön, in diese Welt zurückzukehren- und dann auch noch einen Reread zu machen NACHDEM ich die Geschichten von Brady und Peyton gelesen habe 🥹 Und dieser Epilog killt mich jedes Mal aufs Neue!
Ahhh! Officially in love with Eden Finley books. I don't care that it's basically the same plot over and over again. The fact that I'm still interested in that plot after reading so many of the books, proofs how great of an author Eden Finley is.
Ich liebe dieses Buch ! Wenn ich könnte würde ich mehr als 5⭐ geben !
Getting on here to log this, only to find I have already written a review I cannot remember for the life of me three years ago, this probably speaks volumes for how impactful this read was the first time around :D And it's still a 2.5* steamy romance :D To be honest, I sometimes struggled with telling Talon and Miller apart, but they are equally lovable, so it wasn't that big of an issue. This one is set in Football again (seriously, nobody cares about the actual sport, do they?!). CNs: homophobia, public outing, being in love with someone you think is straight for many years, a couple really shitty, greedy douches _________ Original review from 2020: Finley really writes loveable characters! It’s nice to meet previous couples in every story, even though it feels a tad forced :D there was no fake dating in this one, I missed the trope! Ultimately the kind of conflict this volume faced, I wasn’t too gripped by (some of it was a little rushed), but Miller and Talon are cute as hell and I really appreciate the queer support system that is stressed so much!
