2.5*? 2.25*? This was wild. Compared to the others, this one is so bereft of domesticity and quiet moments, it's astonishing :D In light of Jet's occupation it's not surprising, but the pacing and DRAMA suddenly skyrocketed so hard that I was reeling a tiny bit. The age gap did make me uncomfy throughout the flashbacks, but I got into the groove of the present better. Absolutely everything in this -plot, characters, setting, relationship development- remains superficial, but it do be a ride. CNs: "dirty little secret" relationship dynamics, homophobia and shunning of queer artists in the music industry this time, people being forced into doing a whole lot of shit due to industry politics and contractual cages, being with your friend's little brother, 10 year age gap (there's a one-night stand when they're 20 and 30 and the plot is set when they're 23 and 33)
