so this book wasn't bad by any means and I actually did enjoy it and the world building but where was the romance?😭 basically no build up or tension which is so sad because the cover is absolutely gorgeous, I love the writing style, the world building and the characters and the political intrigue but there was basically no tension, no build up between Airón and Tallu and they had like 5 encounters in this whole book. it started so promising but sadly the romance turned out to be so dull. and I know that a book doesn't need a romance to be good but in this case as it is an arranged marriage trope I did expect the romance to be a little more present than this
