i’m sorry i really didn’t like this. i wanted to but the characters and plot just fell soooooo flat for me. i didn’t like the many tropes that were included because the execution was very mid. where was the rugby or swimmer part of the plot? i fear authors nowadays try too hard to include tropes in their books and it makes me think it’s just for the sake of marketing. because the marketing is what really sold me on this one. the fanart for this book was spot on, but unfortunately it was better than the actual book :(
