Little sum up (not really): Pinky Promise is a story about a woman that loves to travel and has her quirky and witty personality that catches a lot of attention and she obviously stumbles (kind of intentionally ;) into a men that is pretty much the complete opposite of her and with that being said, he’s very grumpy. She basically makes it her mission to turn his frown upside down. My view on the moral of the story: I always look for the moral in stories just bc I like to reflect on them and take the best bits with me. In Pinky Promise it’s def the self confidence that the FMC embodies but also the respect and appreciation for differences and individuality. The Main characters are very different but try to find a middle ground to show each other their affections without having to change who they are, that’s love im telling u. Structure and writing: The story follows dual POV’s and gives you the insides of both love interests. The book is character driven and is really easy to read and to follow. You get a lot of dialogs between characters and cute banters and jokes. Favorite characters: Samson: ah we do love the sarcastic funny side character. Lala: I love how she owns up and lives for what she stands for, what an inspiration. Fawn: I honestly love Fawn so much, want a friend like that! Full of female empowerment and standing up for her friends and being a bad ass business woman. Side note: This is a smutty romance, be aware ;p Bookish: I sadly missed the sale but there were special editions of the book in all Pink, even the font. So cool and unique, I love it.
