2,5 stars. I was greatly annoyed, because some parts reminded me so much of why I didn't like Twilight. This book shares some similarities, like the relationship between Kate and Vincent. He is the incredibly handsome and rich (and 85 years old) guy, who is stalking her in the beginning. The heroine is like a lost puppy, no friends, no life, only some relatives who care for her. Both were crushed (and I mean depressingly and oppressively crushed) during a short breaking-up-time. Those similarities ruined the whole - otherwise being interesting - book for me. But I will give the sequel a chance. Hope dies last...
