Das Buch-Konzept, die queere Repräsentation, der kulturelle Hintergrund mit Dia de Muertos, die beiden Hauptcharaktere, die intensiven Gespräche und die Mischung aus Witz, Ernsthaftigkeit und Spannung... mir hat alles gefallen. Ich hab den Twist war früh erraten, aber trotzdem war das Finale sowas von dramatisch! Liebe Yadriel und Julian und Maritza natürlich auch. Spooky, queer, Latinx-Vibes, cute und wholesome.

I loved this book soo much. Even though I could forsee the main plot twist after a few chapters it was still captivating and incredibly well written. The romance was beautiful and got me crying my eyes out. Especially the queer stories took me to some very real places and I think this book will do a lot for the queer, fantasy genre <3
