this book was a positive surprise in every way. I was intrigued after reading the novella, but also slightly scared because 750 PAGES? I struggle with every romance that’s longer than 500. BUT: don’t know how it’s possible, but this book read like it’s 300-400 pages? It didn’t not at all feel long or dragged on or anything. And THE SPICE? *chefs kiss* You get it all. And a lot of it. And it’s written phenomenal. This book is a great why-choose romance, with all the aspects we love about it. It’s also hockey romance aka the best kind of sports romances existing. I highly enjoyed reading about the FMC Rachel developing relationships with all her guys and seeing them being absolut simps for her. They are down bad. And whilst I normally hate insta love, this was too much fun to hate it. Some parts might that’s been a bit over the top, but I’m choosing to overlook it considering the overall experience reading this book, which was great. Really well written romance for all my why-choose lovers out there. Don’t be scared of by the length! You get romance, fun and lots of dick with this one. 4.25
