Hatte das Buch schon seit Jahren im Auge aber es hat mich absolut enttäuscht. Die Handlung war extrem langweilig und hatte viel mehr Potenzial. Das ganze Buch bestand gefühlt nur aus Briefen an Dick. War sogar kurz davor das Buch abzubrechen und das tue ich eigentlich nie. Bin froh dass es nun zu Ende ist

I LOVED IT. The fast shifting paragraphes, the thousand references to art and literature, the way she and her fiancé reflect her love for another man. Broke my heart to see them part, as that is the connection and deep understanding I‘m searching for in a partner. How she loves Dick without any down to earth reason, knows she will never be with him and still has the courage to write/tell him everything about her feelings. Inspiring
