I honestly thought I wouldn't like this but I ended up loving it. I was worried because I haven't enjoyed Jaes books recently and this one is a bit thicker but I really loved it. I've always been a fan of Law & order SVU and the first half of this book really reminded me of that, so I really enjoyed it. I really liked the main characters and also most of the side characters. I was worried it would be too long but I honestly think it could've been even longer. Definitely gonna pick up the second book someday, hopefully rather soon.
