This book is not for children. It contains some very violent content. For people who saw the movie it might be interesting to see how the original version of this story differs - because there are several changes regarding characters and plot twists. John Romita jr.'s pencils are very clear and kind of old-school - but they fit the over-the-top tone of the story.
