I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It is certainly an autumnal cozy book, perfect for cuddling up to the fireplace and have with a hot cider when it's cold outside, and I liked Cassie's character a lot, but I do think it was too slow-paced, especially in the beginning. A lot of what Lily and Cassie are doing at most given moments were spelled out in too much detail (f.e. describing every step of eating the take-out, from getting it out of the bag, to opening the container, to eating it, etc). It made the reading a bit tedious, so I haven't fully finished it yet. Once I'm fully done I'll return to add to my review, until then I'll stick to 3 stars :)
