Ich habe dieses Buch schon soo oft gelesen. Ich liebe die Geschichte von Nick auf dieser ungewöhnlichen Insel. Das Buch hat meiner Meinung nach alles, was es benötigt. Es ist ein absolutes Wohlfühlbuch, welches mit einer atemberaubenden Umgebung aufwartet. Einen in Atem hält. Ich liebe es wirklich sehr und es ist trotz allem so unbekannt. Ich finde, es verdient viel mehr Aufmerksamkeit!

One of my favorite books of my teens, which I reread several times and enjoyed more and more with every new reading experience. Not only is the hardcover beautiful, but also does the plot convince on every level imaginable. Unfortunately, this book has never been translated into English, although it includes more adventure and literary merit than a lot of more famous fantasy books. For me, this book is how fantasy should be done, how it is the most convincing. Plus, every serious reader should enjoy this book even more since it includes the very original idea of going to a school to create characters for writing stories and breathing life into them ("breathing life" is, however, no expression you should just overlook - it is true in the very simple sense of the world). I can't say anything negative about this work - the length was perfect, the characters interesting, the setting stunning, the atmosphere astonishing, the adventure breath-taking, the humor cracked me up. Highly recommended for German readers!
