was really exited to read an other book by Miss Evans because i really enjoyed the last book i read by her. So i needed to read these. The story idea was totally interesting. Because the relationship between the main characters devoloped out of a one Night stand. But in the whole Story the reader was abel to see that there were chemistry between Sarah and Ian. Besides the love story we had also grate friendships in these book. and i love it when we also got a glimps of other relationships of the main characters. Also the story was very interesting from the beginning because of the fact that Sarah worked at the hotel in and he was guest. It's a small forbidden Element. It brought some suspense to the story. I really enjoyed how the plot was going. Sometimes our heroine annoyed me because she made a big thing out of nothing a few times. But on the same page i got why she did it. Again an Author made it that i got glimpse of who is it to be famous in a special way. And also we see thats not good for a relationship. There where also a lot of humor in these story besides the serious themes that are named in these story. It was always a good balance between Serious and Humor. I really liked the style of writing of Katy. It was so fluently read but i haven't had any problem to understand everything. Sarah was really loyal young women. Also she was strong in her own special way. Also she had humor. Iloved how loyal she was. In some parts of the story she was unsure about her self but she fough her problems. Ian knows what he wanted and how he gets it. Ha also knows whats good for him and he is nice guy. He also fights for the things and people he wants to fight for. We see aslo thta he works really much and hard. All in all im happy tosay that these book doesn't disappoint my exspections in Katy Evans ireally enjoed reading. If like hot reads with lots of emotion then you do nothing wrong whith these book. igot four stars from me.
Obwohl mir der Vorgänger „Tycoon“ nur so semi-gut gefallen hat, wollte ich der Story von Sara und ihrem unbekannten One-Night-Stand eine Chance geben. Der zweite Band der Reihe hat mir zwar ein bisschen besser gefallen, aber wirklich begeistert bin ich nicht. Der Schreibstil war aber gewohnt leicht und angenehm, sodass sich das Buch dennoch gut weglesen ließ. Durchaus hätte es eine tolle Geschichte werden können. Sowohl Sara als auch Ian mussten im Leben zurückstecken: Sara bei ihrem Traum Tänzerin zu werden & Ian in der Liebe. Gute Ansätze waren vorhanden, nur die Umsetzung leider mäßig und oberflächlich. Manchmal wäre ein etwas tiefgründigerer und detaillierter Einblick wirklich schön gewesen. Sara lernt man ja bereits in Band 1 der Reihe kennen. Sie ist eine aufgeweckte, herzliche junge Frau. Manchmal empfand ich ihr Verhalten hier jedoch als etwas unreif. Zu Beginn macht Ian einen sehr herrischen und selbstgefälligen Eindruck. Die Erklärung für sein Auftreten ergibt sich aus der Erkenntnis um seine Vergangenheit. Leider finden große Teile der Handlung vorrangig zwischen den Laken statt. Die Wortwahl ist dabei eher etwas anstößiger, wobei auch die Protagonistin selten ein Blatt vor den Mund nehmen. Heiß und ansprechend wäre für mich etwas anderes. Gefühle und Tiefgründigkeit blieben dabei leider erneut auf der Strecke. Wie auch schon Band 1, bietet auch dieser Band eher anspruchslose Unterhaltung mit viel Bettgeflüster und wenig Handlung. 3 Sterne.
