❗️Spoiler ❗️ Das Buch hat mich so umgehauen. Ich habe Carden am Anfang gehasst dafür, das er Jude verbannt hat. Aber als es dann aufgelöst wurde habe ich so gelacht wie schon lang nicht mehr. Und dieser Move ist so typisch fürs Elfenreich,aber damit habe ich trotzdem so gar nicht gerechnet. Carden als Charakter habe ich immer mehr verstanden je weiter es in der Story vorran ging und eigentlich tut er mir leid,aber ich bin um so glücklicher, dass er Jude an seiner Seite hat die ihn unterstützt. Jude war in dem Buch sowas von Bad Ass (Madoc kann zu recht stolz auf sie sein😄) Ich fand es richtig cool Jude die anderen Herrscher so beeinflusst hat das sie gar nicht anders können als das zu machen wie sie es sich gedacht hat. Mir hat das Buch richtig gut gefallen und ich bin froh die Reihe endlich vom Sub befreit zu haben und Ich nicht mehr in einer Leseflaute stecke der Elfenkronereihe sei dank🤭

🐍Keine Spoiler🐍 Nach dem eindrucksvollen Ende von Buch 2 war ich gespannt wie Buch 3 mit der Situation umgehen würde. 👀 Das war auch der erste Teil der Reihe, bei dem ich weiter- und weiterlesen wollte. Das Gefühl hat mir vorher gefehlt! 🥹 Ich muss sagen, dass es meiner Meinung nach der spannendste Teil war und mir von diesem Buch auch 2 oder 3 Szenen im Gedächtnis bleiben werden. 😍 Es ist viel passiert, auf das Leser lange gewartet haben, vor Allem, wenn man an den ersten Teil zurückdenkt. ✅️ Trotzdem hatte ich leider die meiste Zeit eine gewisse emotionale Distanz zu den Charakteren, weil einfach alles so schnell ging (auch schon bei den Vorgängern) und ich dadurch keine richtige emotionale Bindung zu ihnen aufbauen konnte. 😩 Alles in Allem mein liebster Teil, aber es wird wohl erstmal der letzte Teil für mich sein, auch wenn Buch 4 schon da ist. Die Story fühlt sich für mich komplett an, so wie sie ist. ☺️

Ich habe Elfenthron wirklich verschlungen. Das Buch hat mich von der ersten Seite an wieder komplett in diese düstere, magische Welt gezogen. Besonders spannend fand ich, wie viel Intrigen, Machtspiele und Verrat in der Geschichte stecken — man weiß eigentlich nie, wem man wirklich trauen kann. Jude hat mir in diesem Teil besonders gut gefallen, weil sie sich so stark weiterentwickelt hat. Sie ist clever, mutig und manchmal auch ziemlich skrupellos, aber genau das macht sie interessant. Ihre Beziehung zu Cardan war für mich sowieso eines der Highlights. Die beiden liefern sich ständig kleine Machtkämpfe, gleichzeitig merkt man aber auch, wie viel zwischen ihnen steckt. Diese Mischung aus Spannung und Gefühlen hat das Buch echt besonders gemacht. Auch die Atmosphäre fand ich unglaublich gut beschrieben. Holly Black schafft es einfach, diese Welt gleichzeitig wunderschön und gefährlich wirken zu lassen. Beim Lesen hatte ich oft das Gefühl, selbst mitten am Elfenhof zu stehen.

Diese Reihe werde ich mit Sicherheit noch mehrfach rereaden und mehrfach weiterempfehlen und das hat einfach seine Gründe. Ja auch dieser Abschluss ist etwas vorhersehbar - aber das lässt sich bei Fantasy selten vermeiden. Und mich stört es hier nicht. Alles war stimmig und durchdacht. Jude, Cardan und das Elfenreich haben einen besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten endlich weiter zulesen und hoffe, dass Holly Black mich nicht enttäuscht - aber da ich schon mit den Spiderwick Büchern groß geworden bin, vertraue ich dieser Frau und ihren Werken beinahe blind.

Die Handlung entwichen sich im Gegensatz zu den vorherigen Bänden etwas schneller, aber dafür kommt es meiner Meinung nach auch zu einem guten Ende der Trilogie. Ich konnte das Buch dementsprechend weiterhin nur schlecht weglegen. Im Endeffekt ist dem Leser klar, wie sich die Romance zwischen Jude und Cardan entwickelt, daher hat die Autorin wirklich gute Plots bei den Nebencharaktären geschaffen. Ich finde ein guter Abschluss der Reihe mit etwas Romance und guten Plots. Ich werde sie sicherlich gerne nochmal rereaden irgendwann! Auf jeden Fall habe ich Lust noch weitere Werke von Holly Black zu lesen.

Wow. Der Band war der beste aus der Reihe. Ich war von anfang an drin und es war einfach zu lesen. Es hat sich alles aufgeklärt und ist jetzt verständlich. Interessant finde ich auch, dass man später, wenn man auf ds Cover schaut, schon mehrere Spoiler erhält. Bei jedem Band. So etwas versteht man erst hinterher. Es hat mir also sehr gut gefallen, doch für 5 Sterne hat mir ein bisschen die Romantik und vor allem Kapitel aus Cardans Perspektive gefehlt. Ich konnte mich schlecht hineinempfinden. Natürluch hat man gemerkt, dass sie gefühle entwickelt, aber es war nicht wirklich erkennbar und das Liebesgeständnis kam dann wirklich sehr unerwartet.

Einfach wow… die The Folk of the Air Reihe ist wirklich so gut ich verstehe jetzt komplett den Hype 🤭 The Cruel Prince hat sich für mich zwar etwas gezogen aber Buch 2 und The Queen of Nothing habe ich einfach inhaliert 👀 Der Schreibstil von Holly Black ist so angenehm und die Charaktere sind richtig gut geschrieben man liest es einfach super gerne Und ganz ehrlich ich glaube Jude und Cardan bekomme ich so schnell nicht mehr aus dem Kopf 😭🤍

Dies ist der letzte Band der Elfenreich-Triologie und mal wieder ein sehr gutes Buch! Jude und Carden haben ja im letzten Band geheiratet und Jude wurde in die Menschenwelt verbannt. Ich glaube ich nehme nicht zu viel vorweg, wenn ich sage, dass Jude wiederkehrt. Und natürlich ist nicht alles tutti. Jude fragt sich: ,, Was ist das zwischen Carden und mir?", aber kann sich nicht komplett darauf konzentrieren, denn es gibt immernoch Madroc und Co. die Beef wollen und den dann auch veranstalten. Außerdem muss sich das Elfenreich auch noch an ihrer neue Königin gewöhnen und ist deshalb auch etwas angespannt. Als dann auch noch ein alter Fluch vom Zaun bricht, steht Jude bis zum Hals in Problemen. Kann sie das Elfenreich noch retten? Leute, dieses Buch war mega spannend zu lesen, aber für mich ist die Story, trotz des Endes, nicht zuende. Denn Oak ist noch nicht auf dem Thron. Wir haben hier auch eine Spice-Szene, aber die war gut zu lesen und hat die Story nicht verschlechtert. Insgesamt finde ich, dass dieses Buch auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne verdient.

With 313 pages, this was a short read. I pushed it back because I didn't want this story to be finished, I didn't want to leave Jude and Cardan and Elfhame - and all the tricks and whimsiness that comes with them. Lucky me, Holly Black has written a few more books in this world, and some of them even feature Jude and Cardan - I will be returning for sure! That's, because I love Elfhame - unlike Heather: 📑 "This world already has enough monsters, enough people who want to take advantage of me or hurt me or take my rights. I don't need to know there's a whole other world full of monsters." Holly Black does an amazing job, crafting her characters. Even minor ones stand out and every one of them has their whole flashed-out personality, which makes them distinct from one another, likeable and loveable. I really enjoyed how the author managed to give all of them their own voice! Take Vivi - one of my favourites throughout the trilogy: 📑 "What's wrong with Oak? He stomped in here and slammed the door." "He doesn't want to be High King," I tell her. "Oh. That." Vivi glances toward his bedroom. "I thought it was something important." 📑 "The next thing we know, the High King is on our doorstep looking ready to tear down the whole apartment complex to find you. And when we finally hear from you through Oriana, it's not like we could trust anyone. So we had to hire a cannibal redcap to come with us, just in case. And it's a good thing we did." Speaking of that cannibal redcap - probably one of my most favourite characters! (besides Caradan, of course) When we met her in the beginning, I thought she was nothing more than a sidequest, pushing Jude back to Elfhame. Never would I have imagined what a significant role Grimma Mog would become ... 📑 "I need a new Grand General. Will you accept the position?" Grima Mog's surprise is obvious. [...] "I tried to kill you," she reminds me. "You've described pretty much every important relationship in my life," I return, taking slow, shallow breaths. "I like you fine." That makes her grin toothily. "Then I ought to get to work." Cardan. He is top-tier. Such a sweet and tortured softy, who grew so much throughout this trilogy, finding himself, his place and becoming a wonderful king and a wonderful partner on eye-level to Jude - always so respectful and ... well, desperate for her, in the best way possible. I love that he takes means into his own hands, that he is no longer just someone who gets pushed around. And finally, his people honour the King in him! 📑 "Do not touch her." "Whatever can you mean?" Randalin says. "She's-" "She is my wife," Cardan says, his voice carrying over the crowd. "The rightful High Queen of Elfhame. And most definitely not in exile." 📑 It is perhaps too plain for a queen but Cardan is extravagant enough for the both of us. 📑 "Jude likes to suppose the worst of both her enemies and her allies. Her reward is occasionally being wrong about us." "Hard to remember an occasion of that," I say to him under my breath. 📑 I have a long way to go before I can manage that level of shameless arrogance. 📑 "I haven't worn anything in days," the High King drawls, and if there is something brittle in his eyes, nearly everyone is too awed to notice. "I don't see why I should start now." "Modesty?" 📑 "You should go." "This is my room," he points out, affronted. "And that's my wife." "So you keep telling everyone," the Bomb says. "But I am going to take out her stitches, and I don't think you want to watch that." "Oh, I don't know," I say. "Maybe he'd like to hear me scream." "I would," Cardan says, standing. "And perhaps one day I will." And as you can see ... we get some Jude and Cardan romance as well. We waited long enough and their scenes and moments are still brief, but they are there. I take what I get. 📑 "I can't stop thinking about what you said to me, before Madoc took you. About it being a trick. You meant marrying you, making you queen, sending you to the mortal world, all of it, didn't you?" I fold my arms around my chest protectively. "Of course it was a trick. Wasn't that what you said to me in return?" "But that's what you do," Cardan says. "You trick people. Nicasia, Madoc, Balekin, Orlagh. Me. I thought you'd admire me a little for it, that I could trick you. I thought you'd be angry, of course, but not quite like this." 📑 "I exile Jude Duarte to the mortal world. Until and unless she is pardoned by the crown." He pauses. "Pardoned by the crown. Meaning by the King of Faerie. Or its queen. You could have returned anytime you wanted." I want more of them. I want all of them. Just give them time and love together ... My poor babies. I loved every twist and turn in here! I loved the dynamics between characters, parties, families, enemies and allies ... and I loved the "here comes the cavalry"-trope! We got all of this in here, along with beautiful prose, witty dialogue and good banter! 📑 "Get out, or I'll throw you out." "This is Vivi's apartment," Taryn counters. "This is my apartment," Heather reminds us. 📑 "I thought we were nothing alike, you and I. But it turns out we're just the same." I don't think she believes that to be a good thing. 📑 A spindly, insectile faerie stirs a big pot. "You want soup, mortal?" I shake my head. "You want to be soup?" it asks hopefully. 📑 There's a hushed laugh from my left. Two people then. And one of them is not too worried about me, which is worrisome. "Jude," says the Roach, still laughing. "We've come to save you. Screaming would really hurt the plan." 📑 "Long live Jude," she says with a wink. "No thanks to me." 📑 "Cardan said you're hopeful about the Roach." Her expression is wry. "I'm always hopeful when it comes to him." As you may have gathered by now, this is more me admiring this book than a plain review but I had such a good time with it and I'm sure you will have it too! I haven't really talked about Jude yet. She is queen now. Queen of nothing at first and Queen of Elfhame then. For me, she will always remain a spy, a trick-master and a knight - that is what she truly is. But I do like her reasoning and her queenly thoughts and decisions: 📑 Is this what it is to rule? To be far from the action, stuck on a throne or in a series of well-appointed rooms, reliant on information brought to you by others? Madoc would hate this. 📑 He nods. "If that's what you wish, Your Majesty." His tone suggests that he's agreed to many equally useless commands on the behalf of previous rulers. 📑 I had imagined myself different from Madoc, but already, given the chance, I am becoming a tyrant, threatening in place of convincing. Unstable instead of steadying. I am suited to the shadows, to the art of knives and bloodshed and coups, to poisoned words and poisoned cups. I never expected to rise so high as the throne. And I fear that I am utterly unsuited for the task. We love a self-reflected woman! 📑 "And if one of your spies overhears plans for my assassination, they do not need to bring me word. Nor do I care how vague the plot is or how uncommitted the players are. I just want them all dead." Somehow I think, Jude is being reasonable here. I approve of this in her current situation. The tipping-point in the third act was something. I totally understand why things had to be this way - Jude needed to prove that she is a suitable queen, even without Cardan. I liked the way the prophecy came true and the slight fear some things could turn out in a way I wouldn't appreciate so much. I liked the way things turned out in the end even though the resolution felt a bit too easy after all the things leading up to this point. I was never worried this book might not have a happy ending. I was certain, everything would be fine, and if only because these books have been out for a while and surely one would know if everything went downhill. Yet, the idea of using the bridle on Cardan and of Jude making a deal with Madoc and the Court of Teeth left me worried for a little while ... I'm glad about how everything wrapped up for the family - for the sisters, Oak, Oriana and especially Madoc, from whom I always had an unreasonable soft-spot throughout the trilogy. I want books that leave me satisfied like that in the end. I don't read for realism or heartbreak, I read for joy and escapism after all. Some more quotes - honourable mentions: 📑 "No, I won't help you. No, I won't hear you explain why I should. It really is a magical word: no. You say whatever bullshit you want, and I just say no." 📑 I say nothing, cursing myself for knowing what Taryn wouldn't do, but being less sure what she would. 📑 I am sure she thinks rejecting the honor of royal company is a sign that Oak is spoiled. I think it's a sign he's paying attention. 📑 "I have been explaining skateboarding to Oriana, and she doesn't think I should do it." 📑 "Do you remember the fairy tale with the snake who has the helicopter parents and marries the princess?" "Helicopter?" I echo. I did fall asleep at the end, so maybe I missed that part. (Hahaha I love to read about the differences between Elfhame and the human world, to see how naturally some turms are unknown for the other - even for Jude, who has spent almost her entire life in Elfhame.) Oh, and how could I end this any differently than with Cardan? 📑 "I knew little else, but I always knew you."

Ok wow 🤩 Für alle die mich schon länger verfolgen wissen, das ich im zweiten Teil meine Probleme hatte, aber hier gar nichts. Wir starten sofort in die Story rein, es ist auf keiner Seite wirklich langweilig und wir haben so viel Interaktion zwischen den Charakteren. Auch die Welt erweitert sich hier und wir lernen viele neue Leute kennen. Die Hauptcharaktere machen eine starke Entwicklung durch, vor allem Taryn. ☺️ Ich habe das Buch in an einem Tag beendet und das heißt was bei mir Mit der Liebesgeschichte bin auch endlich richtig warm geworden. Ich weiß bisschen spät, aber besser spät, als nie. 😅 Das Ende war dann auch noch mal richtig krass und es kam eine Wendung nach der anderen. 🤯 Also für mich ist die Reihe trotz der Auf und Abs eine große Empfehlung. Ihr könnt euch allerdings gerne ein eigenes Bild davon machen, denn Geschmäcker sind verschieden. 🤗

Diese Reihe kann einen wirklich verzaubern! Jude und Cardan sind so tolle Protagonisten und die Story ist wenig vorhersehbar. Man möchte das Buch garnicht aus der Hand legen. Das Ende war super schnell und überraschend, hat aber trotzdem alles perfekt abgerundet. Ich kann die Bücher einfach nur empfehlen, wenn man eine etwas andere Geschichte lesen möchte, mit wenig Romance, dafür aber Intrigen und Rätseln und komplexen Charakteren! 🖤⚔️

Wow, was für eine Reise! Ich habe den letzten Band der Elfenkrone-Reihe beendet und bin völlig gefesselt von dieser einzigartigen Welt. Die Autorin erschafft ein Setting voller Magie und Mystik, das gleichzeitig so detailreich und lebendig beschrieben ist, dass man beim Lesen beinahe die Blumen und verschlungenen Ranken vor sich sehen kann. Besonders begeistert hat mich die Dynamik zwischen Jude und Cardan. Ihre Beziehung ist einfach faszinierend. Gerade deshalb hätte ich mir im finalen Band noch etwas mehr gemeinsame Momente der beiden gewünscht. Der Einstieg mit Band 1 (Elfenkrone) ist zugegebenermaßen etwas anspruchsvoll, da das umfangreiche Worldbuilding einen zunächst mit vielen Informationen konfrontiert. Spätestens aber mit Band 2 (Elfenkönig / The Wicked King) war ich hin und weg von der Storyline und konnte das Buch nicht beiseite legen.Für mich war der zweite Teil der stärkste, was Spannung, Handlung und Romantik anging. Band 3 bildet schließlich einen gelungenen und packenden Abschluss der Reihe. Auch wenn ich mir hier und da noch mehr Jude & Cardan Momente gewünscht hätte, bleibt die Geschichte bis zum Ende fesselnd und rund. Insgesamt eine wunderschön geschriebene, magische Reihe, die einen vollkommen in ihren Bann zieht. ✨ #Illustration von @Cosmikla

Fantasy 🌿 Faerie magic ✨ Political intrigue 🗡️ Romance ❤️ | Enemies to lovers 🔥 Emotional payoff 👑 Twists 👀 In my opinion, this was actually my favorite volume of the trilogy. I really loved how everything came together, especially emotionally. The characters feel more settled in who they are, and the relationships finally get the space to breathe. The magical faerie world is still as enchanting and dangerous as before, and even though the political intrigue is a bit lighter than in The Wicked King, it still plays an important role. The focus shifts slightly more toward resolution and character development. I especially enjoyed seeing Jude in this final stage of her journey. She has grown into such a strong and capable character, and it really shows here 👑 The book still has twists, but what stood out to me most was the emotional payoff. The ending was truly amazing. It brought everything together in a way that felt rewarding and meaningful. ♥️ That said, I do understand why some readers feel it was a bit rushed. The story is shorter, and some conflicts resolve quite quickly. I also missed a bit of the intense political scheming from the second book. But despite that, I really loved this conclusion. It felt like the perfect emotional ending to the series…at least for me 😊 Overall, I would definitely recommend it, especially if you’ve come this far in the trilogy. It’s a beautiful, satisfying finale to a dark and magical story

Das Buch war wirklich durchgängig spannend und hat mich gut bei Laune gehalten 📖 Die Intrigen und Machtspiele bleiben konstant interessant ⚔️ Ich war zwischendurch aber echt verwirrt und hab mich schon gefragt, ob ich einfach Dinge aus Band 1 vergessen hab 😅 Turns out: Ich hab aus Versehen Band 3 statt Band 2 gelesen 😭😭 bisschen lost, aber dafür konnte das Buch nichts ✂️

Buch eins war super, Buch zwei war besser und Buch drei ist einfach nur phänomenal. Ich kann gar nicht richtig in Worte fassen, wie sehr ich dieses Buch geliebt habe. Die ganze Reihe ist mir total ans Herz gewachsen die Welt, die Atmosphäre und vor allem die Charaktere. Man fühlt sich einfach komplett darin verloren und will eigentlich gar nicht, dass es endet. Was ich besonders liebe, ist dieses Hin und Her zwischen Jude und Cardan. Diese Dynamik ist einfach einzigartig und macht so viel Spaß zu lesen 🤩 Ich bin wirklich froh, dass Holly Black noch mehr Geschichten aus diesem Universum geschrieben hat, weil ich mich noch lange nicht davon verabschieden will. Ich kann diese Reihe wirklich jedem ans Herz legen, der Fantasy mit starken Charakteren, Spannung und einer besonderen Beziehung sucht.

Holly Black hat mein Herz. Ich weis jetzt schon, dass ich mich nach dem Elfenreich sehnen werde. Es gab kaum langatmige Stellen und ich wollte einfach nur weiterlesen lesen lesen. Alles was passiert ist, ist perfekt. Die Mischung aus der Menschenwelt und Elfenheim. Die Gifte (und das Immunisieren..). Die Geschmäcker Die Gerüche Das Kleine Volk All die Gesetze Ich liebe es und ich werde es soooo vermissen.

Ich fand das buch sooo spannend. Vor allem auch die Beziehung zwischen Carden und Jude. Das ende mit der Schlange auch richtig cool und spannend gestaltet. Doch es sind zu viele Charaktere,dass ich manchmal bisschen durcheinander geworden bin.😅 Das Buch ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen wenn man eher mehr Fantasy als romance mag.

Dieses Buch hat mich gleich in den Bann gezogen. Für mich war es das spannenste und auch beste Buch der Reihe. Jeder Charakter wurde angesprochen, erkundet und hat auch ein zufriedenstellendes Ende bekommen. Die Beziehung zwischen Jude und Cardan wurde so überzeugend geschrieben dass ich selten bei einem Pärchen wirklich "mitgefiebert" habe :'). Das Ende war nicht wie ich es erwartet habe, dennoch echt gut! Es lohnt sich durch das etwas lang gezogene zweite Buch zu kommen! Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung von mir :)

Ein toller Abschluss für diese Trilogie, mit sehr spannenden Erzählsträngen ❤ Mein liebster Teil bleibt,aber der 2....der war einfach großartig vom Plotting her 😮‍💨🔥 Ich bin traurig, dass die Hauptstory, damit abgeschlossen ist, freue mich aber noch auf die anderen Bücher in dieser Welt 🥺✨ Ich habe die Charaktere extrem Lieb gewonnen und hätte nie gedacht, dass mir diese Geschichte SO gut gefallen würde!? Sehr märchenhaft, verträumt und grausam 🌿✨👑 Lohnt sich in meinen Augen definitiv, diese Trilogie zu lesen! 😌❤

!Für die drei ersten Bände zusammen! Der Einstieg in eine neue Welt ist oft etwas holprig, bei mir war es so holprig das ich nach dem ersten Buch enttäuscht war und den damaligen Hype nicht verstanden habe. Kürzlich habe ich mich der inneren Eingebung hingegeben und die letzten zwei Teile gelesen. Jetzt kann ich einfach nur sagen: Wow Die Protagonistin ist keine Prinzessin in Nöten, eher genau das Gegenteil! Sie bringt Prinzen in Not ;) Der Romance-Aspekt steht deutlich im Hintergrund, viel wichtiger ist das Setting und die Politik am Hof der Elfen. Lange hat kein Buch mehr dafür gesorgt das ich nach den letzten Seiten noch ein flatterndes Herz habe, welches nicht genug von der Geschichte bekommen kann.

LOCKE DIED! FINALLY! But Taryn survived sadly, but she at least got banned from the fairy world lol. And what the hell was going on with Madoc the whole time? I get the warrior and pride stuff, although almost killing your daughter, that you raised, is harsh - even if she is your political enemy. (And Cardan became a snake lol?)

Tja ein ganz schönes Ende für eine mittelmäßige Reihe :) die Welt hatte viel Potential, aber leider war es viel zu chaotisch und diese schlechte Kommunikation zwischen allen Charakteren über zwei einhalb Bücher gestreckt, ging mir voll auf die Nerven. Also absolut keine Leseempfehlung :/

Elfenthron ist ein spannender und dramatischer Abschluss der Elfenkrone-Reihe. Jude steht erneut vor schwierigen Entscheidungen, politischen Intrigen und der Frage, wem sie wirklich vertrauen kann. Die Machtspiele am Hof von Elfenheim erreichen ihren Höhepunkt, und auch ihre Beziehung zu Cardan wird auf eine harte Probe gestellt. Der dritte Band ist emotional, überraschend und voller Wendungen. Besonders stark ist, wie sich Jude weiterentwickelt und lernt, mit Verantwortung und Macht umzugehen. Das Ende ist intensiv und rundet die Geschichte gelungen ab.✨️📚

The Storyline is exquisite and very well build. To follow the story is easy because it has a pull to it that simply doesn't let you stoo reading. After the cliff hanger at the End of Wicked King I immediatly startet with this final one in the trilogy and that was truly a great decision! Everything made sense, nit only sense, also sensebility was to be found throughout these Pages. The Lovestorys finaly unfold in their quiete and loude ways. Alles in einem eine absolut großartige Reihe mit der ich viel zu lange gewartet habe um sie zu lesen. Ich hätte mir ein klein wenig mehr Romance gewünscht, und ein klein wenig mehr Cardan, weil er absolut großartig ist und ich ihn wirklich doll liebe, aber auch ohne das war es absolut großartig. Wenn ihrs noch im Regal stehen habt, schon viel zu lange so wie ich, ist das euer Zeichen die Reihe dieses Jahr zu starten 🕺🏽

Elfenthron war für mich der krönende Abschluss der Trilogie – und ganz ehrlich: der beste Band. Nach meinen anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten mit der Reihe hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass Holly Black mich am Ende so überzeugt. Die politischen Intrigen spitzen sich zu, Jude ist stärker, härter und gleichzeitig verletzlicher als je zuvor, und Cardan … nun ja, ich habe ihn hier endgültig ins Herz geschlossen. Die Entscheidungen tun weh, es ist gnadenlos und nichts fühlt sich einfach oder sicher an. Düster, emotional und konsequent bis zur letzten Seite. Für mich ein doch absolut würdiges Finale. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The queen of Elfhame is in exile and the kingdom left to the King doomed to fail on the throne. Will his fate become true? Throughout the entire book I found myself bound to it. The plot was incredible and the characters even more fascinating with their intrigues and some unexpected plottwists. The ending was a bit rushed and I would have liked to learn more about how things unfold afterward. Overall, this book was my favourite one so far. 4,2⭐️Excited to read the following novels

I have to say I really enjoyed the series, even though I didn't think the first book was that exciting and I wasn't even sure if I'd continue reading. But the further books got better and better, and from then on I was completely hooked. I'd say this book was my favorite, and it had a great start. I was captivated. I really liked the ending; I was initially afraid that Carden was gone forever, but I'm glad Jude made the right decision. However, something was missing for me. For one thing, the relationship between Jude and Carden. They were enemies at first, then they slept together, then everything happened at once, and then it was all over. I would have liked to learn more about their relationship and how it would develop. I really enjoyed the book and also enjoyed how action-packed this book was. It was incredibly easy to read, and I felt like the pages just flew! I think about reading the other books too. I want to read more about Oak and how he will one day become King of Elfhame.
