Nanami, ein tapferes Mädchen, was sich mit aller Kraft einsetzt Bücher und ihre Geschichten zu retten. Im Roman lassen sich viele Lehren finden, die mich sehr berührt haben: Bücher, die einem die Flucht aus der Realität ermöglichen und den Alltag erhellen, dass jedes Hindernis überwunden werden kann, wenn man an sich glaubt und Hilfe von anderen zulässt, dass es in der Natur liegt zuversichtlich zu sein. 🩷

Nanami geht schon seit sie klein ist in die Bibiothek so fällt ihr natürlich sofort auf: Es fehlen viele Bücher!! Das kann Nanami natürlich nicht so einfach ignorien! Als sie dann es ansprach wurde sie ignoriert.. Als tat sie das, was sie für richtig hielt: Sie ging den vermissten Büchern auf den Grund.. Und was hat das jetzt mit der Katze zu tun? fragt ihr euch? Ich habe das Buch in der Buchhandlung gesehen und fand das Cover sehr ansprechend. Allerdings bemerkte ich zu spät, dass es sich um eine Fortsetzung handelt. Ich habe sie allerdings dennoch gelesen. Den ersten Teil hole ich beizeiten nach aber ich denke man muss nicht unbedingt den ersten Teil gelesen haben. Der Schreibstil war sehr schön und auch gar nicht langweilig. Er erinnerte mich an die Bücher von Satoshi Yagisawa - ruhig und entspannend. Die Geschichte selbst fand ich auch gut gelungen. Nichts allzu dramatisches und passte auch gut zum Schreibstil. Nur den Titel finde ich etwas unpassend gewählt. Vielleicht sollte dieser nur die Leserschaft anlocken.

Last year I read some second parts of cozy Japanese book series and left completely disappointed and kind of sad. So, I had this book waiting for a long time. Then I started it and I just loved it! Tiger the Tabby deserves it all, and the snapshots of Rintaro’s life after the first book were also a great touch!

It‘s about kindness, love and compassion. It‘s about something worth more than money and success. Something only books can give you. Imagination and it‘s purposes. However the length of the chapters made it harder for me to just fly through the book. I don‘t know about you but to me finishing a chapter is always like a little reward and always makes me feel the progress I made within the book eben better. And honestly I was kinda confused by the scenery switches sometimes which all included made me have a harder time to focus on the book and what it was about. It took me a little while to understand the meaning of the book, the used metaphors and the symbolism. But all in all it’s a really good story and it reminded me again of the most valuable things in life. "Anyone with a heart ends up defeated. I’ve seen it with these very eyes. It‘s always the heartless who survive." — and in the end a little girl who believed in fairytales and magic survived and on top of that spread a message of hope and kindness even tho she was repeatedly kicked down in life. You can lose something. Love, friendship, money, success, happiness even health up to some point. "However, losing something doesn‘t mean it‘s gone for ever. If you have someone close to you, just a whispered word from them can help you to get it back." "Everything has a soul. With the help of a talking cat named Tiger, she sets out to uncover the mystery and soon realizes that stories hold more power than she ever imagined 📚💫🐾 ✨ My opinion: This story truly warmed my heart, especially with its beautiful focus on the love of books and reading 📖 ✨ The writing style is smooth and pleasant, making it an overall cozy and comforting reading experience. I did notice that the chapters were surprisingly long and at some point I found it a bit hard to visualise some of the more detailed descriptions, but that didn’t take away from my enjoyment. I really liked the story and would definitely love to read The Cat Who Saved Books by the same author next 🥰

2.5 ⭐ Für mich persönlich war das Buch okay, aber irgendwie hat es nicht geschafft mich zu berühren, begeistern, zu bewegen. Die Geschichte war mir nicht tief genug, zu oberflächlich, zu schnell, wobei der Grundgedanke im Bezug auf Bücher ja gut war. Es ist mehr eine kurze Geschichte über Gefühle, Wertschätzung von Büchern und kleine Lebensweisheiten. Spannung, dramatische Handlungen sind demnach nicht zu erwarten, hat mir ganz persönlich dann aber doch etwas gefehlt.

„The Cat Who Saved the Library“ ist eine zarte und zugleich tiefgründige Geschichte über Bücher, Mut und den Wert von Geschichten. Mit viel Wärme und leiser Poesie entfaltet der Roman eine besondere Magie, die lange nachklingt. Für mich ein herzerwärmendes Leseerlebnis - perfekt für Zwischendurch.

Rezension: (kann Spoiler enthalten) Band 1 fand ich schon sehr süß wegen der sprechenden Katze. Und auch dieser Band gefiel mir wieder gut. Es war recht kurzweilig und konnte mich einen Abend lang sehr gut unterhalten. Zwar haben wir hier eine andere Hauptfigur, aber wir begegnen Rintaro wieder und auch diesmal zeigt sich in den kleinen Abenteuern, wie wichtig die Welt der Bücher eigentlich ist. Das ist sicher toll für jeden Bücherwurm. 4,5 Sterne

Ein stilles Buch mit einem sprechenden Kater. Und eine Geschichte, die zeigt, dass Bücher mehr sind als nur Seiten. Sanft, philosophisch, berührend. Mit Nanami und Tiger gehen wir auf eine Reise, die uns zeigt, wie wichtig es ist, anderen zu helfen, Hilfe zu erfragen und das Bücher einen mehr ans Herz gehen, als viele denken. Das Abenteuer der zwei ist stilvoll, tief und hinterlässt einen schönen Eindruck zum Nachdenken.
