Nichts ist, wie es scheint, jede und jeder hat Geheimnisse, das Böse ist allgegenwärtig und niemand versucht, es zu verstecken. In einem Dorf in der Toskana entspinnt sich rasend schnell eine wirklich schräge Geschichte, die sich irgendwo zwischen Krimi und Kammerspiel bewegt. Die Geschichte ist eigentlich kaum durchschaubar und steckt voller Überraschungen, auch kommen Gefahr, Mord und Intrigen nicht zu kurz. Trotzdem hat für mich ein wenig die Spannung gefehlt. Sprachlich konnte es mich allerdings schon wieder überzeugen; vor allem die wirklich eindrucksvollen Beschreibungen von Menschen, sehr oft passend bissig, mochte ich. Nicht mein Lieblingsbuch der Autorin, aber als wirklich kurzweilige Lektüre zu empfehlen!

2.5/5 Stars - because it was indeed light and easy to read for the summer road trip but then it was also not satisfying in so many parts: Got it through a recommendation in my local favourite book store. „Unexpected, light yet Crime yet funny and cringe summer read“. Yes. All of it is true. But I kept waiting for the real thing. Then it started to unfold. But what the heck is that ending? I have too many questions. And how did Christina‘s Motivation all change within a page (the end call with her mum)? And what DID ACTUALLY happen now in the end?
