Klasse Buch. Der dritte Band rund um den Dorfverbund Umuaro in Nigeria schildert die Verbundenheit des einzelnen in der Gesellschaft der Igbo mit ihrer Tradition, Philosophie und Religion sowie das Eindringen des Kolonialsystems als auch der Missionare und die Auswirkungen auf alle Bereiche bis zur Unmöglichkeit der Existenz. Viele afrikanische Sprichwörter, die auch auf das europäische Leben passen, Toller Schreibstil. Sehr empfehlenswert!

DNF'd this. I was absolutely bored and not into it at all. The story was long winded and just not interesting. I couldn't keep up with all the gods and the various rituals. I'm so sad it didn't inspire me because I really like Chinua Achebe. The other two books in the trilogy were fantastic but the conclusion just fell flat.
