3.5 stars I enjoyed this more than I thought I would! It was a heartwarming story with gut-wrenching moments in between that made me actually tear up which doesn't happen a lot. This is so much better than Me before you, with a good message to seize the day and make the most of the life you have and keep fighting (rather than giving up and leaving your loved one to morn you when you could actually be there for each other and enjoy each others company...)

Stories like these either need a strong connection to the characters or you should resonate to something from the story. I, however, didn't but I managed to get through the whole book - wanting to know more about the characters and if they get the desired happy ending, which they do. :) It is a feel-good book. A book you should read on a weekend after a long week curled up under a blanket with lots and lots of ice-cream.
