For the first two chapters or so, I was entused. It seemed to be an early version of Altered Carbon mixed with Hindu mythology. But at the latest with the freeing of the demons, it got to confusing for me. I somehow lost track of the plot, and who was who (not knowing too much about Hinduism, I could not distinguish most of the gods) and who wanted what. It did not contribute, that the style is oriented on religious texts and most of the plot iss narrated by dialogues, where one has to guess for a long time who is actually talking. And in the end it reminded me at one of those Marvel-movies, where several people with super powers battle against each other and the plot is secondary.
