I continue to love this story and its characters, also the ties to the first books. This one in particular has focused (in my opinion) on character growth, which i loved to listen to. Also the bonds between the characters develops and/or their depth is shown in more detail than before. What can i say? I just love sandersons writing and storytelling and i need to continue ASAP🤗

Po meni najslabiji Wax i Wayne roman. Iako je knjiga, kao i predhodnici, zabavna i nije toliko dosadna za čitat, pa čak ima i par oho momenata, koji su naravno kod Sandersona, na kraju, po meni je 70% romana brbanja u prazno i to mi se nimalo nije dopalo. Kraj je po meni sasvim ok bio za finim throwbackom na orginalnu triologiju, mada je trebalo par trenutaka da mozak skonta ko je to bio. Iskreno, cjelokupno gledano, Era 2 mi se ne dopada. Možda sam previše subjektivan zbog Ere 1 koja je po meni jako dobra, ali Era 2 po meni ne drži kvalitetu prvih knjiga. Mada, zadnju knjigu Wax i Wayne naravno planiram pročitati. Što se ocjene tiče, dvojka mi nekako prestroga zvuci, a 3 previše darežljivo, pa zato neka bude 2.5* ( sa tendecijom ka 2*)

Toliko o laganom rereadu. Sta da kazem, utisak se popravio. Jako je zabavna prica sa dosta akcije i nije dosadna. Problem koji imam sa pricom jeste da je zaboravna. Zelim reci, nije kao era 1 gdje su bile toliko dobre epske scene koje su ostale zapamcenje. Ovdje, mislim da cu za par dana zaboraviti o cemu se uopce radi. Ali dok se cita, super je zabavno. Likovi su 10+. Promjena ocjene sa 2 na 4*

Das Buch ist einfach klasse, es hat eine super Story, einige unerwartete Handlungen, die Charaktere sind klasse, bekommen nochmal Tiefe, haben tolle Beziehungen untereinander und es gibt eine Tiefe der Welt, die das ganze auch über das Buch hinaus spannend macht. Hab nichts zu meckern

Diesmal muss Wax auf eine diplomatische Mission. Zusätzlich schicken ihn die Kandra aus, um einen Dorn von einem verstorbenen Kandra zu suchen. Unterstützt wird er wieder von Wayne und Marasi. Und diesmal auch von Steris. Dieser Band ist bis jetzt mein Liebster dieser Reihe. Warum? Na wegen Steris! Sie ist ein so herrlich schrulliger und liebevoller Charakter. Ich zitiere mal Steris: "Er ist eine Flamme, Waxillium, meine ich, und Feuer kann man teilen. Wenn ich da draußen bin, wenn ich bei ihm bin, brenne ich, Marasi. Es ist wundervoll." Also wenn man sich da nicht in Steris verliebt, weiß ich auch nicht. Lust diese Bücher! Und wer ist noch Steris Fan?

Buch 3 der zweiten Ära und ich liebe es immer noch! Ich weiß nicht wie Sanderson das macht aber er schafft es immer wieder zu überraschen und die Geschichte in eine unerwartete Richtung zu schicken ohne das es Logik-Fehler gibt oder das man denkt das es an den Haaren herbei gezogen wird. Es ist grandios. Ich liebe Steris immer mehr und mehr. Und Wax und vor allem Wayne sind einfach unglaublich tolle Hauptprotagonisten. Der Witz ist tatsächlich witzig und ich habe einige male gelacht. Es ist einfach eine spannende und dennoch herrlich leichte Reise. Wenn man mal drin ist will man nicht mehr aufhören. Und darum geht's auch bei mir gleich weiter mit dem Abschluss- Band der zweiten Ära. Ich liebe alles daran und kann diese Reihe (und den Autor allgemein) für jeden Fantasy-Fan nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Der vorletzte Teil der Nebelgeboren-Reihe und ich hab wirklich keine Lust, dass diese Reihe bald enden wird (und die dritte Era erst in ein paar Jahren veröffentlicht werden soll…). Alles, was ich bereits in meinen Rezensionen zu den vorherigen Teilen gesagt habe trifft auch hier wieder zu. Vor allem die Beziehung zwischen Wax und Steris macht eine deutliche Entwicklung durch und diese wird stets glaubhaft (und gefühlvoll) beschrieben. Sämtliche Charaktere sind mal wieder großartig und ich habe mich über jedes noch so kleine Kapitel gefreut, welches aus der Sicht von Wayne erzählt wurde. Er ist einfach mit Abstand der lustigste Charakter, von dem ich je gelesen habe (Ridoc aus Fourth Wing ist im Vergleich dazu ein drittklassiger Komiker) und ich musste mehrfach herzhaft lachen, was bei der stetig düster werdenden Geschichte für einen tollen und willkommenen Ausgleich sorgt. Minimale für Sanderson typische Längen sind vorhanden, aber lasst euch nicht abschrecken. Es lohnt sich! Ich beginne direkt mit dem letzten Teil (und will nicht, dass es endet…)

Ora vorrei andare avanti con la serie (visto che ho la fortuna di aver The Lost Metal già pubblicato) ma mi devo far forza e rispettare l'ordine di uscita. Dal capitolo 14 è un crescendo continuo di scene in cui rimani a bocca aperta (non solo per collegamenti nel cosmere). Ho rischiato il breakdown solo perchè sapevo che c'era TLM. L'autore è riuscito a contestualizzare un sacco di informazioni e comunque non risultare pesante con le spiegazioni. Alcuni colpi di scena erano abbastanza telefonati, infatti non sono questi che mi hanno colpito di più ma per la comparsa di alcuni personaggi e approcci sono ... fuori di testa. L'Epilogo è una delle cose più illegali mai letto da parte mia (non è la prima ma ci si avvicina) Per me questo libro è quasi alla pari di Giurmamento in fatto di bellezza (non arriverà mai ai livelli di Parole di Luce però è pazzesco comunque). Spoiler e Teorie------------------------------------------------------- Partiamo dall'inizio per me a un certo punto Wax parla con Kristalla nel capitolo 12. In più parla come se Wax con conservasse la massa ma come se influenzasse lo stesso pianeta con il suo potere ferruchemista. Il problema che tutto questo poi viene lasciato lì perché ci sono altri cazzi a riguardo. Poi c'è ancora la parte di Treel che non viene affrontata: viene venerato come un dio ma non sappiamo nulla di questa cosa perché Wax non vuole approfondire. Anche Occhi di Ferro è scomparso da qualche parte e non sappiamo che cacchio stia facendo (e se è Kelsier che lo sta "manovrando") Poi c'è Occhi Rossi (che forse è Occhi di Ferro senza spuntoni?) che ha mandato Suits in un altro reame (DOVE?). MA POI COSA VUOLE DIRE " Recent advances have made civilization here too dangerous. Allowing it to continue risks further advances we cannot control, and so we have decided to remove life on this sphere instead. Thank you for your service; it has been accepted. You will be allowed to serve in another Realm." CON CHI è IMMORTAL. CHI è? Come può essere Kelsier? Anche se Suit dice "Faceless Immortals", quindi un gruppo. Poi per concludere l'epilogo: Hoid ha dato a Wax le monete in cui c'era la memoria di Kelsier (o Spook anche se non ricordo che avesse delle "etwork of scars layered atop one another, as if made by scraping the skin time and time again") e che diceva agli uomini mascherati di sopravvivere. I FUCKING KNEW IT Brandon when I CATCH YOU AASGJASJASKJSA Absolutely loved all the character moments and revelations. Truly perfect chaotic found family. All my favorite scenes from Era 2 happened in this book: - Sterris and Wax looking for three clips in the tax reports and being in love is the cutest thing ever - MeLaan reassuring people that the age gap is not creepy because the body she ate is 16 (YIKES) And the best scene ever: everyone traumatizing an old housekeeper for 5 pages straight. Including Wax trying to jump out of windows, Sterris handing her a 50 pages notebook on what can go wrong, Marasi asking where to find grave robbers, Wayne explaining cross dressing to this 80 year old and MeLaan storming in naked to ask what breast size she should make herself Honestly MeLaan is such an icon. I love her. I would die for her. Diversity win: the holy person about to eat you is gender-fluid! *-* Having to read a certain event from Wayne's perspective was actually offensive, knowing what happens in the next book. What is wrong with authors? I’m not gonna acknowledge the last 2 pages because I AM GOING INSANE WTF BRANDON I did call it tho Also Brandon is a coward and should make them all gay.

Okay, in the end it was not as bad after all. It is way better than the previous ones, nevertheless I couldn’t help but feel frustration in the first half of the book. Mostly because of the characters. Wax being boring, Wayne a pervert and Marasi a Pick-me, I had a hard time trying to like them. And that’s already the third book in the series! You would think at this point you‘d grown fond of the protagonists but no. And being forced to experience the plot through their pov‘s made me actually furious at times. Regardless, in the end as the stakes got high it got better. I liked that we saw more of the world and it’s inhabitants. I also liked the depiction of „Everything has its price“. That if people are comfortable and don’t have problems they are forced to face as a society they don’t strive for knowledge and that results in barely any progress throughout the centuries. One aspect that also positively surprised me was the character development of Marasi in the last part of the novel. I have to admit I’m not sure if that’s enough for me to like her eventually but it’s a start. I‘m curious were this leads in The Last Metal. And of course you cannot forget my favourite character Steris <3 I love her with all my heart and am happy we got to see more of her. She is the best part of this series and I‘m already sad to part with her after the fourth and final book of this Mistborn era. Naturally I hope we get to experience more in her pov. Lastly, I sadly saw a spoiler for the end of this book so I wasn’t as surprised of how the book concluded. But I am interested and wish to know more about it. I really hope The Lost Metal ends this series with a bang because otherwise I‘ll be disappointed of this era. It’s natural that not every novel can be a 5 star book, even a Sanderson one. I do however feel an annoyance, because they are relevant for the Cosmere itself but I also wasted my time on characters which I despised. So please may the last one make me feel something positive again.

Die Bänder der Trauer sind ein Artefakt aus den Legenden, doch als ein Kandra zurück nach Elendel kommt und Beweise für ihre Existenz mitbringt, beschließt Wax, der Sache nachzugehen. Die Bänder sollen einst dem Lord Ruler gehört haben und ihrem Träger große Macht verleihen. Gemeinsam mit seiner Verlobten Steris, Wayne und Marasi macht sich Wax auf die Reise. Dabei erleben sie die Unzufriedenheit der Bevölkerung außerhalb der Hauptstadt und finden Spuren der geheimen Organisation, welche Wax‘ Onkel leitet. Meiner Meinung nach ist dieses Buch das schwächste der gesamten Reihe. Auch wenn es einige gute und interessante Aspekte gab, war mir zu großen Teilen einfach nur langweilig und ich bin sogar einmal beim Lesen eingeschlafen (was mir sonst eigentlich nie passiert!). Am meisten gestört haben mich wohl die Charaktere. Diese waren zwar auch in vorherigen Bänden teils eher archetypisch geschrieben, aber nie so, dass ich es als störend empfunden hätte. Hier wirkten fast alle wichtigen Charaktere flach und klischeehaft. Es gab wenig charakterliche Entwicklung und die, die es gab, war nicht gut. Insbesondere Wayne hat mich durchgehend genervt, Wax war langweilig und Marasis Entwicklung am Ende kam einfach aus dem Nichts und war für mich nicht nachvollziehbar. Sie hätte wirklich Besseres verdient! Einzig die Beziehung zwischen Sterris und Wax war in dieser Hinsicht großartig und für mich ein Highlight des Buches. Der Autor tut sich sonst ja eher nicht dadurch hervor, dass er besonders gute romantische Subplots schreibt, aber hier war ich davon wirklich begeistert. Während Wax mit seinen Gefühlen für seine verstorbene Frau kämpft, muss sich Sterris ihres eigenen Wertes bewusst werden und dies fand ich wirklich schön mit dem Rest der Handlung verknüpft. Der Plot war, wie bereits erwähnt, eher langweilig. Insbesondere im Mittelteil fand ich es schwer, mich für das Buch zu begeistern. Die Actionszenen, welche Spannung in die Geschichte bringen sollten, wirkten teils nicht wirklich passend und waren eher verwirrend geschrieben. Fazit: Auch der dritte Teil der zweiten Ära von Mistborn konnte mich nicht für die Reihe erwärmen. Die Charaktere waren hier nicht überzeugend geschrieben und der Plot eher langweilig. Abgesehen von einzelnen Aspekten konnte mich das Buch nicht überzeugen.

Der dritte Teil des 2. Zyklus der Nebelgeborenen kommt wieder mit einem Haufen fesselnder Spannungskurven daher wie man von Sanderson gewohnt ist. Einzig die Erweiterung des Magiesystems war mir an einigen Stellen etwas zu schnell und ein wenig unverständlich. Grade in der 2. Hälfte des Buchs steigt man aber wieder mehr durch.

Bänder der Trauer von Brandon Sanderson, der sechste Band der Nebelgeborenen Reihe. Dieses Mal folgen wir Wax, Wayne und Marasi mit einigen anderen Gefährten dabei, wie sie Hinweisen auf die Sagenumwobenen Bänder der Trauer nachgehen. Diese legendären Artefakte gehörten einst dem Obersten Herrscher und sollen jedem der sie trägt, unvorstellbare Kräfte verleihen. Die Gruppe verlässt die Hauptstadt Elantel und das sichere Becken, um in Neu-Seran ihre Suche zu beginnen. Dabei verfolgen nicht alle das gleiche Ziel. Meine Meinung: Sanderson halt... das sollte eigentlich genügen, aber ich werd trotzdem noch was erzählen 😆 Sanderson haut in diesem sechsten Band tatsächlich nochmal einen drauf 🤩 ich will nicht zu viel verraten, aber es gab ein paar Entwicklungen und Entdeckungen die ich sehr gefeiert habe. Story technisch und was Charaktere angeht. Wir erfahren etwas mehr über Wax' jugendzeit und wie er zu dem wurde, der er jetzt ist. Wayne lässt seine Maske des geflohenen Irrenanstalts Bewohner einmal fallen und offenbart sein Innerstes ❤️ und Marasi wird sich bewusst was, bzw. wer, sie eigentlich sein möchte. Aber am meisten hat mich Steris überrascht. Die langweilige Steris. Die sich auf alle möglichen Probleme vorbereitet 🥰 was hab ich sie und ihre Listen in diesem Band gefeiert 😆 einfach toll diese Frau 🤣 die scheut auch nicht davor zurück mal auf den Tisch zu kotzen 🤣😂 Fazit: Lesen!

I'd give this a millions stars! It was by far my favorite of the three and WOW. All the things that happened and Brandon really knows how to play with my emotions. That ending was so great. I can't wait for the next!! Now I've read each and every book of the cosmere, gotta wait for Stormlight 4, I guess

I have fallen in love with these characters and Bands of Mourning is full of great moments for them. The story wasn't on as grand a scale as the previous one, however the stakes had a personal component to Wax which compelled me a lot. I wanted to learn more about his sister than this book provided, however there might still be room to explore her character in the final volume. While fast paced action adventures aren't my favourite kind of stories, Branderson manages to write action that doesn't bore me and to balance the fights with character moments, fun conversations and his signature world building.
