Will and Rosie meet as teenagers. They’re opposites in every way. She overthinks everything; he is her twin brother’s wild and unpredictable friend. But over secret walks home and late-night phone calls, they become closer—destined to be one another’s great love story. Until, one day, tragedy strikes, and their future together is shattered. But as the years roll on, Will and Rosie can’t help but find their way back to each other. Time and again, they come close to rekindling what might have been. What do you do when the one person you should forget is the one you just can’t let go?
Okay so I didn’t finish it. This is officially the second book i DNFed. I just couldn’t do it anymore. In my opinion it was just so boring and unspectacular. No hate to the author but that’s just my opinion on it. I read 57% of it aka I stopped on page 221. I was really anticipated to read this book and I had bigger hopes on it. The two main characters are Rosie and Will aka Rosemary and William, they meet as teenagers and it should be a Love story between them but there wasn’t much happening AT ALL. Like they didn’t even really talk much with each other and I just didn’t get it, they kept meeting at the lighthouse and spending little time with each other. The communication between them was rare and I just didn’t understand their relationship at all. Generally, I was confused about a lot of things. I didn’t understand their thoughts, motives, actions and feelings at all. They like each other (kind of at least) obviously, but then they stop talking to each other, she gets into a relationship with Simon (some dude from her university) and they get MARRIED? She even thinks about running away from her own wedding like girl what are you even going at this point 😭😭. Her twin brother, Josh, died at Wills birthday when he fell off a cliff. So that factor was a big thing of their relationship I understand but everyone was just being so weird I don’t even know how to explain that. I also just didn’t like the characters, since I already mentioned everyone was being weird and Rosie’s Mother just absolutely annoyed the fuck out of me💀. This book also kinda threw me off because it doesn’t use the quotation marks at all😭. I like that the book is floppy HAHAH and I found the cover pretty nice and unique idk. Sooo yeah I think that’s all of my thoughts about it, kinda disappointing but I decided to spend my time reading another book instead of just losing days, hour and time🥲.
