Ein Re-Read eines meiner Lieblingsbücher von vor 20 Jahren 😅 #ichbinalt . Irgendwie war es daher auch ein Herzensbuch und ich freue mich auf die anderen vier Bände. Aber es ging alles so schnell und wurde dabei erzählt, als würden Monate zwischen Buchstart und Buchende liegen 🤣. Merlin ist anfangs ein echt nerviger Zeitgenosse, voll von Selbstmitleid und Egozentrismus. Zum Glück wird das anders im Lauf der Geschichte. Rhia fand ich ok. Shim gehört irgendwie mein Herz in dem ganzen 🤣 und Verdruss 😭. Band 2 lese ich aber erst im neuen Jahr. Ich denke also, das war mein Leseabschluss 2025. Ein guter Abschluss, finde ich 🥰.

The beginning was really great and exciting but towards the end the story got predictable and boring. Also the main character started to annoy me at the end, which is a pity because I'm only reading because of Merlin. What bothers me too was the fact, that they (Merlin and his sidekick) always needed to find that one praticular person/thing that would help them. And this happend at least two times in the book. I hope the next books focus more on Merlin's magic abilities and hopefully he finally uses them!
