4.5 Stars I love a good retelling. And this one was really good. A new approach to the story of Godiva. Different POVs, which I always find interesting and a neurodivergent fmc. Also it this story finds that Godiva is not a blonde „bombshell“ but has albinism. Which is something you don‘t often find in novels. And makes for a very interesting twist as well. The author pulls you in with drama and intrigues, love, enough spice and a bit of vikings at the end. I also quite enjoyed the mix of modern language in the setting of viking/ medieval England. It made for a really easy read. So if you like to read different approaches to stories/legends you should give this debut a try
