This story follows Magnus back to London, where he meets several known and beloved characters from The Infernal Devices. I very much enjoyed seeing how they had developed since, and quickly grew to like the new character as well. Unfortunately this story, too, left me hoping for more of this storyline in one of the following chapters of [b:The Bane Chronicles|16303287|The Bane Chronicles|Cassandra Clare|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1395159015s/16303287.jpg|22436394].

It was interesting to read about James Herondale and I'm excited to see how the story of the Herondales and Blackthorns continues in [b:Chain of Gold|17699853|Chain of Gold (The Last Hours, #1)|Cassandra Clare|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/book/50x75-a91bf249278a81aabab721ef782c4a74.png|19212510].
