Ich musste es als Schullektüre lesen und dafür war es wirklich außerordentlich gut. Man versteht zwar am Anfang überhaupt nichts wenn man nur das Drama an sich liest ohne den Anhang, aber dort ist alles gegeben, was man braucht um es zu verstehen. Ich finde die Figur Medea tatsächlich interessant besonders ihr "Verfall" und Brutalität zu der sie mehr oder weniger getrieben wird im Verlauf ihres Lebens. Teil ist es auch witzig, auch wenn das Drama dies nicht beabsichtigt. Eine der besten Schullektüren, die ich lesen musste und schon interessant.

3,5 ⭐️ i just started with this book, because i needed to read this for school. obviously. i thought that i wouldn’t enjoy this book at all. but i was wrong. it is actually not a bad book even though i don’t like plays like this. okay. it will definitely will be a book i would give 4 or 5 stars, but if you like literature, you should read it. so medea is a character of the greek mythology. to understand the book you need to know the backstory behind medea and her husband jason. because euripides, the guy who wrote this play, assumes that you know their backstory.
