Wow! Here we have Paloma Ainsa presenting a heart-warming, entertaining and humorous story that takes place in the Spanish scenery. A love story that is just about to spark between Maite and Mario takes us on an emotional roller coaster whilst we get to know wonderful characters who accompany them on this journey. The figures are well-developed and spiked with a unique sense of humour. Ainsa has a fluent and easy-to-consume writing style, yet vivid and picturesque, enabling one to visualize the characters, the Spanish scenery including the streets of beloved Madrid! I loved that she sheds light onto complex intra-dynamic relationships of people who are in very different circumstances and would not have crossed each other´s paths, if LIFE would not have happened! All in all, I loved the book and with Paloma Ainsa keeping it real throughout her story. Easy 5 stars!
