It’s a clear case of second book syndrome. Half of the story was just fluff that didn’t bring the story forward unfortunately. The ending was promising, so fingers crossed it gets better.
Part 2 of the Serpent & Dove series is extremely boring for my taste and doesn't even come close to the first part, it has zero plot and is always about the same thing. I'm thinking about not starting the 3rd part at all. Not recommended from my side!
Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, wie ich das Buch bewerten soll. Ich habe den ersten Band geliebt, aber im zweiten Band hatten sich die Charaktäre total verändert. Man konnte sie kaum wiedererkennen. Spannend fand ich lediglich das hintere Drittel. Das war dafür aber richtig gut. ✨Zwei Sterne für zwei Drittel und vier Sterne für das letzte Drittel ✨
