To be honest - I knew that I would not like the book. I read the first part a few months ago and I was SO VERY annoyed about it: a problem that a couple should be able to talk about openly, lack of communication between said couple, far too many (unnecessary) sex scenes, far too many descriptions ala "xyz is so hot and wow, do you see how HOT he is? Have I already said that he is hot and sexy?" Boooooring! Oh, and the promised book club is almost non-existent. Why did I read part two anyway, you ask? Well - part two is about the two people I liked in part one. And I was naive enough to believe that the second part would certainly be much better than the first one. Uh, well. It wasn't. The book club did appear a little more often, but still not as often as the title suggests. Mack, whom I really liked in the first book, has lost a lot of his charm and humour. So has Liv. The story? Not really exciting. The characters? Should just talk to each other more often. The sex scenes? Long, unnecessary and - and here I actually thought I wasn't reading properly - the author (a grown as woman!) is apparently unable to use the word "penis". She actually wrote "his you-know-what" during a sex scene! Uh, hello? This is not Harry Potter. I am definitely not going to read the third book. I swear to God I won't. (Fortunately, the third book also deals with two characters that I am absolutely not interested in). The "The Bromance (and practically non-existent) Bookclub" series has shown me once again that I have very high expectations of romance novels and that this is actually a good thing! (Why did I give the book 2 stars in the first place? I now downrate it to 1 star).

I loved this one so much!! Liv is a chef at a prestigious restaurant. One one, her sister's husband's friend, Mack, orders the most expensive cupcake on earth and after an unfortunate series of event, Liv gets fired. Not because she dropped the cupcake on Mack's date but because she witnessed her awful boss sexually harass the new hostess and refused to look the other way. From there, she goes into a battle to out her ex-boss as a sexual predator and Mack wants in. This was so well done, a soft ennemies to friend to lover. It was cute seeing tough, untrusting Liv slowly get into Mack and find herself having to reoy on him. I' really interested in Noah story!! So on to the next!
