I wanted to like this so bad :( So this is set in the normal world, with Seph being the main character. Seph leads a pretty shitty life with an abuser dad, having to work in a club to support the family and having to go to class. The story beins with 2 new students coming into Seph's school and taking an interest in her. This is a reverse harem, with 4 love interest, all are aware of it and accept it, although this first book is only the beginning to all relationships. I wanted to like this because, I like reverse harem and because I liked the whole magical part to it and the idea of having pair but Seph has 2, things in the book were really interesting. But, the writing was very juvenile. Like, it was almost hard to read, I pushed through because I wanted to see where this book went. And honestly, I'm not picking up the next book, but only because the writing wasn't great because I was interested by the plot. If you try and forget about the way the characters were written, it was all good, I like Seph, I think she'll grow into her power nicely and both pairs were really cool too. The thing I dislike tho, is the idea of keeping something a secret from someone for their safety. I'm a strong believer that knowledge is power and keeping someone in the dark almost never helps them so I was really annoyed at the boys for keeping everything from her, to the point she had to get information from other people. And the stlker thing was overkill, it would've been fine if we'd found out more in this book, but we didn't, we're just as in the darh as Seph, so I was really annoyed.
