If your love interest cannot finish a love song started by your MCs dead boyfriend, because he understands perfectly what that love felt like and understands music perfectly enough to capture the essence the demo has put forth … and if that song doesn’t gift the MC with a living breathing memory of his dead love while delivered by someone that anchors and cherishes him in the present, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN WRITING ROMANCE FOR, HUH?!? (I’m mostly kidding, but I’m also not okay, sorry not sorry :D)
