Der Schreibstil hat mir von Beginn an sehr gut gefallen. Es ist durchweg locker, humorvoll und entspannt zu lesen - unter anderem auch die sehr kurzen Kapitel. Beide Charaktere haben mir super gefallen. Margos Gedankenwelt war sehr nachvollziehbar - umso spannender war es, wie Beck denkt & vor allem herauszufinden, weshalb er es auf Margo „abgesehen“ hat. Die Tension zwischen den beiden wurde wirklich unfassbar gut umgesetzt und deutlich gemacht. Die Mischung daraus sowie dem Humor/Sarkasmus zwischen den beiden war sehr gut erfrischend. Besonders toll fand ich auch die Freundinnen von Margo. Insbesondere Emma war super witzig & eine tolle Freundin gegenüber Marco. Die Szenen mit ihr und vor allem die Gespräche haben mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Die Story zwischen den beiden sowie Beck‘s Bruder - und Margo‘s Ex-Freund - war super spannend, genauso wie die Rückblicke und Erinnerungen von früher. Es war spannend, die Entwicklung zwischen ihnen zu lesen. Für mich war es insgesamt kein Highlight, dennoch eine super Geschichte, die man einfach und schnell lesen kann. Wenn ihr Lust auf eine humorvolle, super spicy & tensiongeladene Billionaire-Romance habt, in der kein Blatt vor den Mund genommen wird und der Protagonist unfassbar heiß ist - könnte es definitiv etwas für euch sein!

Beck Sinclair is a dirty dream, between the way this man talks and his obvious obsession with Margo I couldn't stop flipping pages. I love that it's a dual POV so we get the way Margo is denying her feelings and Beck knows what he wants, he'll do anything for her. It has such a forbidden feeling to it, wanting your brothers ex girlfriend. I loved every minute of this book full of office romance spice and love.

Alexa, play Mastermind by Taylor Swift. I loved it. The built-up, the flashbacks, the emails, the longing…. Absolutely amazing. Even though it was fake dating it felt different. Mostly because they don’t hate each other and know that they want the other person. The whole part of denying their feelings wasn’t there and that was really refreshing. Surprisingly, it didn’t bother me that he was technically her boss because it didn’t actually feel like it. AND HE WASNT RUDE TO HER! That should be normal but in a lot of books like this it is not. And he wasn’t a total dick to everybody. He is a decent person who values his employees. And he wasn’t as weirdly overprotective and obsessive (well kind of but in a different, actually acceptable way) as most male protagonists in billionaire romances or romance books in general. Also I could really feel and understand what the characters felt and thought. The made sense and the book was so thought trough. Can’t every book be like this one?

I can really only recommend you to read this book.Not only were the tropes top trier but the tension between the two characters was also just incredibly good. tropes: ● ex boyfriends brother ● billionaire romance You all know that I love everything Kat writes anyway, but this book was extra good. One thing I love about her and her books is her writing style which is captivating and exciting and her smut which is unbelievably good. Please do me a favor and read this book, thank you!!
