Bin ich froh, dass dieses Buch in meinen Feed gespült wurde! Eine echte Überraschung. Wo soll ich nur mit meiner ernstgemeinten Lobhudelei anfangen? 🤔 1️⃣ Ich wollte nur ein kurzes Hörbuch für zwischendurch. Belohnt wurde ich mit einem Duett, wobei der englische Sprecher eine ähnliche Stimmfarbe wie Pedro Pascal hat. Hallo?! 😳🥵❤️‍🔥 2️⃣ Der Einstieg in die Welt war easy. Man wird nicht vom world building überrollt, merkt aber subtil, dass man Fae und Vampire so in ihrer sexy Version hat 😏 Die Handlung fließt sehr einfach so vor sich hin und man kommt entspannt mit. 3️⃣ Man fühlt gut mit der FMC, auch wenn ihre familiäre Situation etwas uneinsichtig ist. Die Mutter? komische Frau. Der Vater? Keine Ahnung so richtig. Ihre Sternenhaut? Cool, aber gleichzeitig: hä? Ich freu mich schon auf den nächsten Teil, um mehr darüber zu lernen (hoffentlich). 4️⃣ TSITP vibes, weil 2 Brüder und Gefühle voller Konflikte. Bisschen verbotene Gefühle hier, bisschen Unrecht da - ich hab die Qualen geliebt! 5️⃣ und letztens: Die hotten Szenen waren toll. Schöner, kleiner Plottwist am Ende? Ja, bitte! Liebe ich 💖 Ich hätte auch 5/5 ⭐️ vergeben können…ich weiß…aber den letzten hebe ich mir noch auf. Für irgendwann 😅

A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows A fast, steamy fantasy read that doesn’t go too deep in this first book, but still manages to hook you with its pacing and tension. The romance and spice are definitely the highlights, and while the story starts off feeling a bit familiar, the twist at the end was genuinely great—it pulled me in and made me want to dive straight into the next book. Favorite Quotes: “The stars may guide us, but it’s the shadows that shape us.” “He tasted like danger, and I was starving for it.” Not overly complex, but it delivers on the fantasy-romance promise—and ends strong enough to keep me turning pages.

I had a good time reading this. It’s fast paced - maybe even a bit too fast. I smelled the plot twist 100 pages in though - but I’m invested and will continue. The spice is nice but nothing crazy. I hope the FMC will be more active in the 2. book because right now - she’s horny all the time and I want to see more of her sass. A bit more banter would be nice too. We’ll see :)

I will give up everything for you, princess.” this book surprised me it was so fucking good now i’m mad that i didn’t start it earlier. the characters, the story,the plot,the spice everything was so good but the tension was the best thing about this book omg..

This is a hard one. The start made me love it immidiately. It had everything I want from a fast paced romance (and fast paced done right!!). But it got weird. The conversations between the loveinterest were... Bad. Like, baaad. They kept having the same conversation over and over again and it was not easy to ignore. The end of the book left me completely flabberghasted. But not in a good way, it just didn't make any hecking sense. I absolutely cannot find a way to explain it, but the author cannot make that big of a mistake, right? RIGHT? Guess I gotta read the second one after all...

Unfortunately this was rather disappointing. The story was bland, or better said it was nonexistent. The whole book was just Adara shortly at home, Adara at the palace and then Adara in some forest. The story could have been written down on one single page. The plottwist at the end was lame and predictable. The rest of the book was basically smut. Also what happened to building up a relationship? Where is the tension? Adara and Evren saw each other once and suddenly they're f*cking each other all the time. Ugh.

You know that current discussion on "Romantic Fantasy" and "Fantasy Romance". Yeah, this definitely is the latter. This is more of a romance with a Fantasy setting. But not even Fantasy Romance, but Fantasy Smut. There is no chapter without smut. Really. Not. One. I did not expect it to be so smutty lmao Always when I thought "Oh hey the story is getting interesting" *BOOM* SMUT. Listen, I like me some smutty time, but if it is so much I am just annoyed. The FMC. This girl, man. I cannot stand her. She wants to be strong so bad. Has her little dagger with her at all times. Now guess: how many times did she use it? Yeah, not once. And she is always so helpless. Evren always comes to her aid. Ugh... You know, I am not against weak MCs, okay. Although I prefer some female power and ass-kicking FMCs, it is okay to have an MC who is not superwoman. But let there be some kind of development. The only development there is, is when she gets to feel what pleasure is and then CONSTANTLY only thinks about her release. That´s all she thinks about. Her pleasure. The story would honestly be so cool, but getting hit with smut in every other scene, just ruins it to be honest. So, yeah. This book is okay if you´re only looking for smut set in a Fantasy World.
