Julian has been in love with Parker since forever and had to watch him get engaged to someone else and i was NOT okay. The author builds this insane amount of sexual tension that really leverages Parker’s awakening alongside Julian’s quiet longing and the fact that they have this whole lifetime of friendship underneath it all makes every small moment hit so much harder. even though everything moves pretty fast once they’re together in Aster Valley, the bond they’ve built over decades makes it completely believable . Mikey’s chaotic attempts at matchmaking are genuinely hilarious and seeing the whole gang felt just right. Honestly? Julian and Parker are the best couple in the whole series for me.
