Madison Square Murders by C.S. Poe is one of those mysteries that grabs you by the collar right from page one. Everett Larkin - a cold case detective with a brain that often is more of a curse than a blessing - ends up teaming up with Ira Doyle, who’s basically charm personified, and the two start digging into a killer who’s been hiding in plain sight for ages.
