Definetly better than the other stories BUT this totally ruined David for me. If I had been in Evelyn's shoes, that would have been it. On the plus side: These stories (not just this one) show what many other books fail to do - showing that parenting isn't all roses, love and sunshine. Maybe they go a little overboard with the hard sides but still.
