In my opinion the 4th book was the most intense and best book. I liked how many changes in the POV there were. Giving her the name Lazarus was pretty interesting - in my eyes, this added a lot more depth to the story.Although that He had more restrictions about "giving up" on his purpose than his brothers - that was a hell of a ride in the end. I assumed a happy ending, but to read it - that was a really good feeling.

4,5⭐ »To live is to die. That was the agreement you made, when you came into this world. You cannot have one without the other.« Diese Reihe hat mich echt gepackt und nciht mehr losgelassen.

There is an inherent magic to life, a magic that not even the afterlife can give. What a ride! I can't believe that this is over. I spent so long waiting for the next novel in the series because everyone of them ended in a cliffhanger and now it's over. Death might be the horseman that takes the most getting used to. They all did in a way because they're heavenly beings and whatnot. But Death... The moment he lays eyes on "his woman", he wants to bang her due to some otherworldly need. And spends like three pages thinking about nothing else. I don't know but the other horsemen were easier somehow. It doesn't help that it feels like he's constantly going bonkers. I can't really find the words to say what I think about him. Lazarus was a little easier. I kinda liked her from the start and I liked her with Ben. There were scenes in this book that were pure gold - the horsemen bickering really made me laugh, I could hear and see them like I was right there. Plus this book actually managed to surprise me which lately I don't often say. The ending was a bit obvious but still nice. Overall I'm sticking with 4
