I was looking forward to reading this book and I was definitely not disappointed. It is a historical novel based on the Romanian revolution, and while most of the characters are fictional, it’s something that real people had to go through. It made me really emotional knowing that my family has lived through these times. While I might be biased about how much it has moved me, I still think even someone without any connection to Romania would enjoy it.
