Easygoing college football summer romance
I really liked the progression of Harper and Luca‘s story and how they grew closer to eachother. They essentially met because Harper was trying to get closer to some other dude, which kinda put me off to be honest, because she seemed very indecisive even though it was very clear that her and Luca were going somewhere. But Luca exploited the situation for his own good in return, so it‘s all good. The beginning of them was so nerve tingling with a lot if awkward sexual tension and soothing sweetness in one. The character building beside the mc‘s was also very nice and gave an itty bitty peek into the characters of the following books (Holden Becker and Elio Reynolds). Despite all this, I cannot give this book 5 stars because I kind if put me into a reading slump. I can‘t put my finger on why it did, but I have definitely read more thrilling books. I was a good mid and easygoing story.
