love the wrap up of this series I fell in love with these characters who made Sinner’s Playground their own as children. The sister authors wrapped up this series with a bow, in my opinion. While I felt like the story was a little drawn out and there were a lot of long flashback stories narrated by the characters, the epilogue-style “three weeks later”, “years later”, etc chapter made up for it in eyes. I am an absolute sucker for happy endings & seeing characters still together in the future - I am a total swoon worthy sucker when this happens! One of my favorite supplemental characters was Brooklyn, along with her guys. If she is that hilarious when she’s not a main character, I can’t wait to read her story for more laughs soon! Brooklyn is the kind of friend everyone girl wants/needs and she never takes life too seriously! All in all, I recommend this book if you want a reverse harem love story with plot twists and an antagonist that seems to never die, despite many, many efforts. There are lulls in between the books where the story is too drawn out or flashbacks take up the majority of a chapter, but now that I’m at the finish line, I’d say it was worth it. ** Finally, la cucarocha was squashed! I felt like I’ve been holding my breath for two d@mn books, waiting for this to happen! I will say, his spirit broke much faster than I expected, and I think that’s because we skip through time in the book and the reader is expected to imagine what happened to break him. I never anticipated he’d plead with Rogue, even on his deathbed, yet that happened. I wish there had been an ending or hint of a continuation of the story of Luther going off with the cartel. What happened with him? Did he do what he was asked to do in repayment for Fox being saved? Did he really miss a major family event? The way he loved Mutt, I highly doubt it - no way! I didn’t get any closure to his story in this regard. Lastly, Rogue finally gave up on that woe-is-me, I-must-save-everyone-even-if-it-means-I’m-very-reckless mentality. That was tiring for me in the middle of the series because I just wanted to scream at her to quit being stupid. Clearly, working together as a team is better than going off into the wolf’s den alone - duh! I read this book while listening to the companion audio & the narrators did a great job. I will never unhear Maverick’s gravelly voice and I’m here for it!
